Volunteers from Keynsham and Saltford Dementia Action Alliance went on an outing to Tyntesfield National Trust property in August together with residents from St Phillips and St James care home in Keynsham.
We took 9 residents and carers on Keynsham Dial a Ride on August 22nd. On arrival we were greeted by the staff and given an introduction to Tyntesfield and then transferred to the house using a shuttle bus. The house was very interesting. We then went into the café and had lunch, cake and drinks. On the way home, we sang lots of our favourite songs. It was a very happy day and was the second visit that we have made recently with our clients.
