CARERS’ CENTRE
The Carers centre in Bath is very helpful. Based on the lower Bristol Road and they cover our area. Katie Tanner is the contact.
You would need to register with the Carers’ centre and when you have done this you will be able to access various activities.
Their aim is to provide support and information and they provide an emergency contact card.
The best option would be to contact the Carers’ centre Support Line:
Freephone Support Line on 0800 038 8885 or email support@banescarerscentre.org.uk. They’re available from 9am – 1pm, every weekday.
You can also find details about the support line here:
Free support for carers | The Carers’ Centre (banescarerscentre.org.uk)
The support line will be able to register you over the phone and then provide any necessary support or advice.
The Carers’ centre is not able to provide a ‘buddy’ or support system to allow people some free time, but the Support Team will be able to provide you with information about where you can access these services.
FORGET ME NOT SERVICES
This is based at Bath City football ground and Ruth Lane is the leader. You can contact her for more information. The website is also helpful. There is a charge.
